Module #3

Our brains on media



Our brains has three parts: Reptilian, Limbic and Neocortex.
The first video is influencing our Limbic Brain, because during this video we see many different colourful images: rainbow, clowns, animals, flowers, balloons etc. and hear a music which gives us a lot of positive emotions. Than we read the massage and understand. So it is influencing our Neocortex Brain.

    What a nifty video choice - I've never seen this before, Neat!

    And I like your analysis here - you are absolutely right - first, our limbic/feeling brain is attracted to all of the colors and such, and only later does our NEOCORTEX give it some real thought.
